_Matthew Girson is an artist whose work exists at the limits of human perception and reason. Although primarily a painter, he has also worked in sculpture, sound, and scent. Girson’s previous projects have been exhibited across the United States and in Europe. As a writer, he has published criticism and catalog essays. In October 2012, a new essay by Girson on Holocaust representation will be included in Lessons & Legacies XII, the biannual journal published by the Holocaust Education Foundation.
