_Irena Knezevic is a Serbian artist working in various performative forms, materials, venues, and means of distribution to construct programs for the public and institutions. One-person projects and performances have taken place at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; ThreeWalls, Chicago; White Columns, New York; MIT; Harvard University; Northwestern University; University of Pennsylvania; Wellesley College; Jan Van Eyck Academie; Netherlands; and Illinois State Galleries. Collaborations have occurred at Blum and Poe in Los Angeles and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

A collection of Knezevic’s written works has been published by Mercer Union as a part of Blast Counterblast anthology. In 2012, Illinois State University Press will publish a monograph of scores, programs, and manifestos titled Victory Of Literary School X, which includes writings by Anthony Elms, Matthew Jesse Jackson, Kendra Paitz, and Knezevic.
